Adult Education | Ordinary Time/Extraordinary Autobiographies
As we’re learning, the weeks following Pentecost (up until the Season of Advent) are known as Ordinary Time. Our SALT 1 Team is creating worship, service and fellowship opportunities that point to the ordinary things of our daily lives and how they can reveal the extraordinary grace and will of God. Beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, Jeff Wright will lead a four-week workshop on creating our spiritual autobiographies based on Paul’s admonition to take our ordinary, everyday lives — “our sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking around lives (TM, Peterson)” — and offer them as a gift to God (Romans 12:1). We’ll work with four creative approaches to exploring our past and discerning how God has been at work in our lives.
