Adult Education | “Entering the Passion of Jesus”: Exploring Risk and the Stories of Holy Week
Jesus’ ministry was full of risk. This class will explore the biblical context of the final days of Jesus’ life – his triumphant entry, teaching in the Temple, the Last Supper etc – and will focus on the risks associated with these stories. We’ll take our own risks, finding new meaning in familiar stories, and thinking together how taking risks is a central theme in living our faith. Sundays, March 10 – April 14, during the 9 a.m. Education Hour, meeting in the modular.
Books available, but not required for participation in the class. (Book Title: Entering the Passion of Jesus: A Beginners Guide to Holy Week by Amy-Jill Levine). Click here to learn more about the book and author Amy-Jill Levine, you can also purchase the book at this link.
