Worship | Sunday Morning Schedule

It takes courage to try something new. At Heart of the Rockies Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), courage is in our DNA. From worshiping out in the community in our earliest days, to flip-flopping our style of services, to experimenting with one Sunday morning service to allow us to develop a NEW weekday service…at 25 years old, we’re still a congregation seeking to live into the hopes and dreams God has for us.

In September, we began a six-month experiment with our Sunday morning schedule based on your abundant feedback through a worship survey. In January, we hosted a listening session and asked for additional feedback via an updated survey.

Overwhelmingly, you told us our experimental Sunday morning schedule is helping you feel more connected:
* 96% of folks feel the same or more connected to God
* 96% feel the same or more connected to one another (with 67% feeling more connected)
* 94% of folks are attending worship the same number or more Sundays

At their February meeting, our Church Board accepted the proposal presented by our AWE (Alternative Worship Exploration) Team– to continue our current Sunday morning schedule until growth or other factors indicate a change is needed.

9 a.m. | Education Hour
10 a.m. | Worship
11 a.m. | Fellowship Hour

For special Sundays–such as Easter–we’ll hold two Sunday morning services to ensure we can comfortably and safely seat all worshipers.
