Heart of the Rockies Christian Church in Fort Collins, CO

Youth

Just Say Know

The church has a unique call to share a message about sexuality which includes a Christian spirituality that is Biblically sound and based on God’s grace. Education and knowledge in partnership with faith and grace are important in guiding our children in their physical, emotional and spiritual health. We offer different educational programs including Middle School Workshops for youth/parents and a High School Study for 9-12th grade youth.  For more information, click here.

Tour of Life

Each year, people preparing for baptism and a life of discipleship are invited to participate in the “Tour of Life.” On this day-long retreat, those interested in baptism are paired with an adult mentor as the group travels throughout the city, connecting the Christian faith to everyday life. Stops include a visit to the Birthing Center at Poudre Valley Hospital, Habitat for Humanity home supply store, a local funeral home, a playground, pizza place and a classroom. At each location there is teaching and conversation regarding various aspects of the Christian life such as being born anew, death and resurrection, play, prayer, a life of learning, baptism, communion, and service. If you have a youth who would like to participate, call the church office (223-1230).

Summer Camp
Summer camp may be the most impactful faith experience in a youth’s life.  All camps listed below are held at La Foret Camp and Conference Center near Colorado Springs.   Recognizing the value of outdoor ministry, Heart of the Rockies covers a portion of the camp fee for our campers.
