Heart of the Rockies Christian Church in Fort Collins, CO

E-giving and E-payments

Electronic giving is a secure, convenient way to provide consistent financial support or the ministries and mission of Heart of the Rockies Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  To make a one time donation or to enroll in recurrent electronic fund transfer through Vanco Services, or if you’re already enrolled and would like to make a one time special donation, or change your current/regular scheduled donations, click here.

Click on the link above and sign up.  Please note: we incur a fee of 3% for each credit card transaction.  This does not impact the total amount you will be credited for, although you might consider giving a donation to help offset the cost for the convenience of this service.

New Vanco Mobile App Available

Vanco, our eGiving provider, has launched an updated mobile app called Vanco Mobile Faith Engagement. This new mobile app will be replacing GivePlus Mobile on September 30. With Vanco Mobile Faith Engagement, you can send one-time donations or set recurring gifts.

If you use GivePlus for your electronic giving, download the Vanco Mobile Faith Engagement app in the Apple App store or Google Play store. (Simple instructions for use here.) Enter Heart of the Rockies to begin setting up your account. If you’re already registered with Vanco, use current account info to sign-in, you will be able to see any giving history, and any existing recurring transactions will transfer over.

If you aren’t currently using the GivePlus mobile app, there is nothing required for you to do, unless you would like to take advantage of having access on your mobile devices.

Use VANCO’s app to text your gift. Enter our unique 10-digit Vanco Text number (833-578-0186) and the amount you wish donate, then press send. You will receive instructions on how to register. Watch a video explanation of how Vanco Text works here.

If you are at least 70 1/2 years old, have an IRA, and are required to take a required minimum distribution prior to April 1, you may make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA. This action can satisfy charitable goals and allows funds to be withdrawn without any tax consequences. Read updated guidelines hereContact David Peters, Treasurer & Steward, with questions.
