Adult Education | The Crossroads
Mondays \\ September 14 – November 2
For decades people in the LGBTQ+ community have endured hardships when it comes to equal rights in many areas. Given the personal effect these struggles have had on this community, some seek refuge in the church only to find the same rejection.
In this series, we will discuss the importance of studying this crucial topic. We’ll also examine various passages of scripture, commonly known as “The Clobber Passages,” studying them in the light of context and authorship. Finally, we will learn strategies to make people who identify as LGBTQ+ feel even more welcome, accepted, and integrated into the life and heartbeat of our church. Join us at The Crossroads every Monday evening from 6:30-8:00 p.m. via Zoom. Facilitated by Nathan Hall in partnership with our Discernment Team.
