Bethany Fellows Beloved Community Grant
We are excited to share the good news with you, that Heart of the Rockies is the recipient of a Bethany Fellows Beloved Community grant in the amount of $1,000.00. The grant is designed to help us take our next step in doing our part to dismantle racism, and to build what Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. called the Beloved Community, right here in our local community. The project is based on the work of Resmaa Menakem, a licensed trauma counselor, and his book, My Grandmother’s Hands: Racialized Trauma and the Pathway to Mending Our Hearts and Bodies (2017).
