Where We’ve Been: Telling OUR Story
During the first quarter of this year, we’ve shared brief videos highlighting some of the journeys we’ve been on as a congregation since 1993, including our founding; the construction of our church; the evolution of our music ministry; the development of Kids at Heart; the dream of SKYhill; the transition from our founding pastor to our current senior minister; and more. A team commissioned by the Church Board has been working together over the past 6 months on how we tell our story to the community beyond our walls as well. After 30 years with our beloved logo, we will be introducing a new one for our 30 year anniversary–a representation of who we are in this decade. We are also working toward upgrading our website in a time when our digital presence is a more important part of our ministry than ever before.

We created an oral history to complement the written history we have for our first 20 years. Thanks to those that were able to share their story.
Where We’re Going: Ground Blessing & Time Capsule
We’ll celebrate with our Heartside Hill partners the transfer of Lot 2 (the undeveloped portion of our land) to Community at Heart (the official name of the LCC comprised of Heart of the Rockies Christian Church and CARE Housing) through a ground blessing at the end of March.
Later in the year, we’ll work together to preserve some artifacts that will help future generations understand more about where we’ve been and who we are.

Sunday, March 26 After-Worship Reception
No 30th anniversary is complete without a party!! Save the date for March 26–a very full and exciting day! After worship, we will have cake and some fun activities as we reflect on what has been and look forward to what is yet to come.
All Church Mission Opportunity
While our intergenerational mission trip for 2023 is being deferred by a year, our Outreach Team is coordinating a multi-generational opportunity for us to spend a day (Saturday, August 26) serving with Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity. (2023 is their 30th anniversary, too!)
