2023 Stewardship Campaign

October 24, 2023

God’s Beloved—

I love the stories we hear in worship! The sacred stories of scripture. The personal stories of people’s lives and faith. The stories we sing and the stories we lift to God in prayer. All of them orient me toward who God is and how God is at work all around us. Quite frankly—so many of these stories have shaped my faith.

So, yes, I’m very excited for the testimonies we’ll witness in worship over the next couple of weeks as moving reminders of the many ways in which our church changes lives!

The ministry of our church happens because of the generous financial and volunteer support of each one of you. Because of you, dear one, and because of GOD, our congregation changes lives. Thank you!

Ben and I give financially to our congregation each week out of appreciation for the lives that together we touch. We’ve never been a church that’s “just about us.” Even so, when we’re out there Loving God and Serving others, we discover that lives are being changed—and so often our own—because that’s the effect generosity has.

While there are many ways to support the mission and ministry of our congregation, it’s this time of year when we ask everyone to think in a particular and prayerful way about the choices we make with our money in support of the church.

I hope you will join me in making a commitment to give to our General Fund and Building Reserve this coming year.

God has done and continues to do remarkable things through us and with us—things that matter in our community! Gifts to our congregation make this possible. Please join me in turning in an estimate of giving form with your intention for giving in the coming year.

Grateful for the ministry & journey we share,

Rev. Melissa R. St. Clair
Pastor
