Dedicated Space in the new Heartside Hill community building - $700,000
Heart of the Rockies will own and control 1,800 square feet in the new community building, with the opportunity to use additional space owned by CARE Housing. CARE Housing’s space will serve as their resident clubhouse.
Our dedicated space will provide us with:
· Fellowship and classroom/small group space
· A family bathroom with showers and storage space
· Community gathering place for our mission partners, other faith communities, and the 20+ ministries that serve every age and stage
When using our dedicated space, plus the CARE Housing space (available upon reservation), we’ll be able to seat 150 people at tables.
Phase 2 of the Heartside Hill community building will include an early childhood education center. Outside funding is being sought for Phase 2 and construction will not begin until funding is secured. Heart of the Rockies has no plans to invest in this portion of the building at this time.
Renovation and addition to existing church -- $1,300,000
Potential renovations to the existing building may include:
- Expand the lobby/narthex area
- Remodel Room 1 for music practice and storage
- Improve and update mechanical systems, flooring, parking lot and more
An addition to the existing church may include:
· Offices and a conference room for our pastors
· Large classroom
· Intimate worship and meeting space
· Gender neutral bathroom
· Dedicated restroom for the nursery
· Outdoor courtyard to connect the church and the community building, to include a children’s play area and gathering spaces
Timeline
Community building construction is expected to start in the summer of 2024 and take approximately one year. The church addition and remodel will begin after completion of the community building.
Why Should I Give?
“At Heart of the Rockies, we use the Bible’s account of God and human experience to shape our lives, our community, and our hope for the way it can be in the world. This Capital Campaign will help further our commitment to using the space we have in ways that will bring healing, wholeness and hope to even more people than it already does.”
