Walking into a new church can be intimidating. We’ve all been there.
At Heart of the Rockies, you can expect:
Open arms
We rejoice in a God who loves without limits. No matter who you are or what you believe, you have a place here.We serve communion every Sunday. Everyone is welcome at the table. Our communion cups are filled with grape juice, and our wafers are gluten-free.We welcome kids
Children are loved and valued at Heart of the Rockies. Kids are invited to share in a brief Children’s Time during worship and to participate in the Prayground during the service. Younger children are welcome in our fully staffed Nursery, or in the Sanctuary.Thoughtful voices
Our pastors share sermons that will lead you into fuller experiences of God’s presence in the world, a deeper understanding of the Bible, and the desire to love and serve others.Joyful noises
We incorporate favorite hymns and contemporary songs in our worship service. We have a Praise Band and welcome a host of gifted guest musicians on a regular basis. Some Sundays you’ll even experience our Choir or our Bell Choir!Time to connect
During fellowship time after worship, you’ll find people hanging out together outside or in the lobby. Help yourself to coffee, donuts, and lively conversation. Keep the conversation going over lunch if you like.Lunch Bunch
Most Sundays following the worship service, a group gathers in the lobby and then heads to a nearby restaurant for lunch and great fellowship with each other. No reservations or RSVPs are necessary and all ages are welcome to join in!Substance over style
Your presence is what matters, not your appearance. We encourage you to dress comfortably.Lifelong learning
Adults meet for classes throughout the week, including some Sunday mornings. Middle and high school youth meet Sunday afternoons, and our younger children experience faith formation on Wednesday evenings. We also host a variety of groups and events that are all-ages and all-inclusive.
