‍Kristin Candella, Executive Director of Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity, joined us in worship on Sunday to make an exciting announcement: Heart of the Rockies Christian Church has been named the 2024 recipient of the Fort Collins Habitat's Hometown Hero Award! The first non-corporate organization to receive the honor, HRCC is being celebrated for our long history of contributions to Habitat in the areas of construction, philanthropy, ReStore, leadership, and more, including our donation of land to Heartside Hill, for the construction of nine Habitat homes. The award will be presented during Habitat's annual Homecoming Gala on Saturday, October 19.
