Our Outreach Team invites us to make a special offering on Palm Sunday, April 13, that will benefit Homeward Alliance (Mission Statement: “Empowering Individuals and Families Who Face Homelessness to Survive, Move Forward and Thrive”). When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the people "laid their cloaks on the road" before him as a sign of respect and honor. We are invited to gather any of these new or gently used items and to bring them on Palm Sunday to lay them down in our sanctuary as an expression of our desire to honor Jesus through serving others.
