What to Expect on Sunday

How we worship…

Our Sunday morning worship service is at 10 a.m., followed by fellowship time (with donuts!). We incorporate favorite hymns and more contemporary songs in our worship service. We have a Praise Band and welcome a host of gifted guest musicians on a regular basis. Some Sundays you’ll even experience our Choir or our Bell Choir!

Expect to see worshippers in all sorts of clothing; we encourage you to come comfortably.

Our pastors share sermons that will lead you into deeper experiences and understanding of God’s presence in the world and the desire to love and serve others.

We serve communion every Sunday. Everyone is welcome at the table. Our communion cups are filled with grape juice and our wafers are free of gluten and other common allergens.

…and love our kids…

Children and youth are highly valued. They’re invited forward to share in a brief Children’s Time during worship and to participate in the Prayground during the service. Our Prayground is a space near the front of the sanctuary where children are welcome to worship while coloring or otherwise wiggling – just like kids do! Younger children are welcome in our fully staffed nursery with our trained nursery workers, or in the sanctuary with their families.

…and learn together.

We also value education and fellowship. Our adult education classes rotate through a variety of topics pertinent to our faith. One or more classes are offered at a variety of times most weeks throughout the year, from Sunday mornings before worship service, to weekdays, to evenings. Our 3rd-6th graders, as well as our middle and high school youth, experience faith formation on Sundays from 12 – 2 p.m. during the school year. Before and after services, you’ll find people hanging out together outside or in the lobby. Help yourself to a cup of coffee, a donut, and lively conversation.
