Heart of the Rockies Christian Church in Fort Collins, CO

What to expect on Sunday

Walking into a new church can be intimidating. We’ve all been there.

How we worship…
Our Sunday morning schedule includes: 9 a.m. Education Hour (adults); 10 a.m. Worship; 11 a.m. Fellowship. We incorporate favorite hymns and more contemporary songs in our worship service. We have a Praise Band and welcome a host a gifted guest musicians on a regular basis. Some Sundays you’ll even experience our Choir or our Bell Choir!

Expect to see worshipers in all sorts of clothing; we encourage you to come comfortably.

Our pastors share sermons that will lead you into deeper experiences of God’s presence in the world and the desire to love and serve others.

We serve communion every Sunday. Everyone is welcome at the table. Our communion cups are filled with grape juice and our wafers are gluten-free.

…and love our kids…
Children and youth are highly valued. They’re invited forward to share in a brief Children’s Time during worship and to participate in the Prayground during the service. Younger children are welcome in our fully staffed nursery with our trained nursery workers or the sanctuary.

…and learn together.
We also value education and fellowship. On most school-year Sunday mornings, adults meet for classes covering a variety of topics pertinent to our faith. Our children and youth experience faith formation on Wednesday evenings, with middle and high school youth meeting on Sunday afternoons. Before and after services, you’ll find people hanging out together outside or in the lobby. Help yourself to a cup of coffee, a donut, and lively conversation.
