Ruth Meyers, Director of Music, is a multi-talented musician who leads the praise band, directs the choir, arranges for special music, and accompanies the traditional service. Her roles outside Heart of the Rockies include music therapist and piano teacher. Ruth enjoys spending time in the mountains, rockhounding, and creating jewelry. Erin Tyler, Children’s Sunday School and Child Care Coordinator, has a heart for children, including facilitating an age-appropriate worship experience for kids known as Worship and Wonder. Erin graduated from CSU last year and will begin attending Claremont School of Theology in Fall 2019. She feels a strong call towards ministry work as a Hospice Chaplain, but will remain open to whatever God calls her to do in the road ahead. She loves spending her time with her husband and three children, creating with photography and music and reading a good book.
Sarah Ballard-Ramirez, Executive Assistant, joined HRCC in April 2018. She has been assisting people since she was a child, helping her father on the farm. Sarah received her associate degree from Red Rocks Community College. Her attention to detail and organization helps to keep the office running smoothly throughout the week. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and three dogs, being outdoors, and volunteering with The Nappie Project & the Food Bank for Larimer County.
