Heart of the Rockies Christian Church in Fort Collins, CO

Opportunities

Harvest of the Heart Community Garden.  Each year, we donate hundreds of pounds of produce to the FoCo Café, Food Bank for Larimer County and others in the community. The garden will be on hiatus for a couple of years until the Heartside Hill community building is completed.  We’ll keep you posted on plans for the new and improved garden!

Faith Family Hospitality.  FFH is the overnight shelter program of the Family Housing Network of Fort Collins. Heart of the Rockies partners with Plymouth Congregational Church, UCC to prepare private living spaces, provide meals, and accompany homeless families through conversation and attentive care. Approximately four times a year, on a rotating schedule with other faith communities, up to four families are housed at Plymouth, with support from HRCC. For more information, click here.

Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity.  Each year, Heart of the Rockies joins with other local faith communities to support the Common Ground Faith Build. In addition to a financial contribution, our volunteers help construct homes on specially-designated Heart of the Rockies build days, and provide lunch for the construction crew.
